Yarg Rolls

Ingredients

4 bread rolls
25g (1oz) soft margarine or butter
75g (3oz) Cornish Yarg Cheese, grated
Juice of lemon

 

Method

1 Cut four or five vertical slits down each roll.

2 Mix together the other ingredients until combined.

3 Spread the mixture evenly between the slits in the rolls and spread any remaining mixture over the top.

4 Wrap each roll loosely in foil, place on a baking tray and bake at Gas Mark 6, 200 C or 400 F for 15 minutes.

5 If soft rolls used, open the foil for a few minutes to crisp the tops.

6 Serve with Savoury Ramekins or with vegetable soups or other savoury dishes.
